Caitlin's 3rd!

How time flies. Caitlin's already 3! Her mommi, Alina hosted a birthday bash for the little one and boy, did she have loads of fun.

Because I was not feeling well, I decided not to bring the new toy - brought the loyal G10. Shucks, I should've brought the new toy instead because all the sifus were there! Namely, Lee & Mesh. Also was introduced to one of Alina's buddy, Sherene - another Nikon fan! Lols!

Funny thing was, I was not used to taking photos with the G10 anymore! Lols! Had a tough time adjusting this and that! Lee explained that it is almost impossible to compare the G10 and the D90.. hmm, makes some sense there.. what was I thinking?!?

One thing Alina & I both noticed is that Thea & Caitlin blend in very well with each other each time they meet. When we first arrived, Thea was playing all by herself where else Caitlin was socialising with all the other kids (a character I believe inherited from her daddy, Mike). But as the kids started to disburse, Thea and Caitlin automatically just got together, as if there was an understanding that when the rest left, that's when they'd get together. It's really sweet.

When it was finally time to go (it was already 2am!!), Caitlin again refused to let Thea go. Thea explained to Caitlin that she had to go home to sleep and will come back to play with her again some other day. The minute Caitlin heard the word 'sleep' she kept saying, "upstairs! upstairs!" while pointing her fingers upwards!She was so cute!!! She was telling Thea that she could go upstairs to sleep so Thea didn't have to go home!! When we all said 'bye' to her, she put her head down, shook her head, pouted her cute little lips and said, "I no bye! I no bye!"... awwww... ain't she sweetness!!

It was no doubt another late night for us. Thea had skipped her ballet class twice in a row! Aikes, bad mommi!! lols! But sure am glad that Thea enjoyed herself at Caitlin's party and during the CNY. Now that it's back to routine, we ought to really start catching up with rest!
